Xtra Membership Terms of Service

This document outlines the Terms of Service for Xtra Membership ("Terms"). It serves as a legal agreement detailing the rights and obligations associated with the use of the Xtra Membership service—a paid offering designed for customers of the www.rohlik.cz online store, providing a range of shopping benefits and advantages.

Who We Are and Where to Find Us

The www.rohlik.cz online store is accessible via the web portal www.rohlik.cz or the Rohlik.cz mobile application ("Rohlik.cz e-shop").

The Rohlik.cz e-shop is operated by VELKÁ PECKA s.r.o., Company ID: 030 24 130, with its registered office at Karolinská 654/2, Karlín, 186 00 Prague 8, registered in the Commercial Register maintained by the Municipal Court in Prague under file number C 226550 ("Rohlik.cz").

These Terms are effective as of April 24, 2025.

1. XTRA MEMBERSHIP SERVICE

Xtra Membership is your gateway to more convenient, advantageous, and faster shopping on the Rohlik.cz e-shop. This service grants you access to a host of benefits designed to enhance every shopping experience, including exclusive discounts, expedited and guaranteed delivery, and other special offers.

What Benefits Does Xtra Membership Offer?

Exclusive Discounts and Products: Gain access to pricing advantages and products unavailable to regular customers, including:

  • 10% discount on selected private label products such as Miil, Dacello, Moddia, Pappudia, and others.

  • 10% discount on BIO products marked as BIO on the e-shop.

  • 15% discount on Rohlik.cz's "BEZ KOMPROMISU" products.

  • Access to an exclusive assortment available only to Xtra members.

Delivery Benefits: Enjoy convenient, fast, and cost-effective delivery with the following perks:

  • Free use of the Returnable Bags service.

  • Free shipping on all orders.

  • Same-day delivery guarantee for orders placed by 5:00 PM.*

  • 4× free express deliveries per month**, thereafter at a discounted rate of CZK 99.

  • 4 orders per month with no minimum order value.

*Availability may vary based on delivery location.
** Applies within the express delivery zones defined by Rohlik.cz on the Rohlik.cz e-shop.

Additional benefits may change over time depending on current offers. The current list of all Xtra Membership benefits is always available on the Rohlik.cz e-shop. We recommend reviewing it before each purchase, as the offerings are continually expanding.

Detailed information and rules for the provision of Xtra Membership benefits can be found here. Benefits may be provided by Rohlik.cz or in cooperation with selected partners. Availability may vary based on delivery location, assortment, or current capacity.

All Xtra Membership benefits renew at the beginning of each calendar month.

2. XTRA MEMBERSHIP

Xtra Membership is a paid service that opens the door to more advantageous and convenient shopping on the Rohlik.cz e-shop.

2.1 Free Trial Period

To allow you to try Xtra Membership without commitment and determine if it's right for you, we offer a 30-day free trial period.

How Does the Trial Period Work?

Any customer with a user account who hasn't previously used the free trial can activate it. During the trial period, you'll enjoy all Xtra Membership benefits completely free of charge—no immediate payment required.

Activating the Trial Version involves a few simple steps:

  • You have an active customer account that hasn't utilized the free Xtra trial.

  • Log in via the Xtra Membership page, select your membership type (monthly or annual), and enter your payment card details.

  • An authorization payment will be made to verify the card—no amount will be charged.

  • Upon successful registration, your 30-day trial period will automatically commence.

  • If you cancel the service during the trial period, you won't be charged, and the benefits will remain until the end of the trial.

  • If you don't cancel during the trial, the selected membership fee will be automatically charged after 30 days.

What Happens After the Trial Period Ends?

After 30 days, the service becomes a paid membership. The fee is automatically charged based on your chosen plan and continues until you cancel the membership.

2.2 Membership Options

You can choose between two subscription types:

  • Monthly Xtra Membership – with automatic renewal, a monthly billing cycle, and a price of CZK 199 per month, including VAT.

  • Annual Xtra Membership – with automatic renewal, an annual billing cycle, and a price of CZK 1,999 per year, including VAT.

2.3 Activating Xtra Membership

Activation depends on your eligibility for the free trial:

  • If you're new to Xtra, you can activate the membership for free during the 30-day trial. Detailed instructions are provided in the trial section above.

  • If you're not eligible for the trial, simply log in to your customer account, navigate to the "Xtra Membership" section, select your preferred plan, and complete the payment. Once the payment is successfully processed, your Xtra Membership benefits will be activated automatically and immediately.

Payment and Confirmation

After entering your details, you'll be redirected to a secure payment gateway to complete the card payment. For trial activation, only an authorization payment is made to verify the card—no amount is deducted.

Once the service becomes paid, you'll receive a receipt issued in accordance with applicable legal regulations. This receipt is always available in your order overview within your customer profile.

Can Activation Be Temporarily Unavailable?

Yes—if there's a significant increase in demand that could affect the quality of provided benefits, Rohlik.cz may temporarily suspend new activations. We'll inform you in advance of any such limitations.

3. CANCELLATION OF XTRA MEMBERSHIP

You may cancel your Xtra Membership at any time—no reason required—directly via your customer account.

If you cancel during the trial period, no charges will apply. Your membership benefits will remain active until the end of the 30-day free trial. After this period, the service will automatically terminate.

If you cancel after the trial has ended, your membership remains active until the end of the current billing period. It will not renew afterward.

Membership fees are non-refundable after the service becomes chargeable, unless you exercise your statutory right of withdrawal (see below). If you withdraw within 14 days of the first charge, we will refund the unused portion of your subscription.

  • Or by turning off auto-renewal in your customer account — in this case, the membership will end at the close of the current billing cycle.

Cancelling before the end of a paid period does not entitle you to a refund (except as stated below).

4. WITHDRAWAL FROM THE CONTRACT

Changed your mind? No problem. You may withdraw from your Xtra Membership contract within 14 days of it becoming chargeable—no explanation required.

What happens next?

Once we receive your withdrawal notice, we will refund a proportionate share of your payment without undue delay—no later than 14 days.

By default, refunds are issued as store credits to your Rohlik.cz account. These credits do not expire and can be used at any time.

If you prefer a bank transfer refund, simply let us know — we’ll return the funds to the original payment account.

5. LIMITATIONS AND MISUSE OF XTRA MEMBERSHIP

Xtra Membership benefits are personal, linked to a specific customer account, and non-transferable.

If misuse is suspected—such as repeated sign-ups to exploit the free trial—Rohlik.cz reserves the right to terminate your membership immediately without compensation and block further use of benefits.

A valid customer account and payment method are required to access membership benefits.

Rohlik.cz reserves the right to restrict or cancel benefits if there is clear abuse of the complaint system (e.g., frequent unjustified claims). This includes reversing credits granted under false or excessive claims.

6. LIABILITY AND WARRANTIES

We strive to deliver Xtra Membership benefits with the highest level of care and quality. However, some circumstances fall outside our control.

Our liability excludes:

  • Other customers’ behavior or improper use of the service/e-shop;

  • Damages from force majeure (natural disasters, pandemics, government actions);

  • Technical failures (e.g., power outages, network issues);

  • Service interruptions or restrictions due to extraordinary events or capacity issues (e.g., crises, regulatory limits);

  • Third-party advertisements or promotions displayed via Rohlik.cz;

  • Unauthorized third-party interference or misuse of the e-shop system.

Limited liability for third-party services

Rohlik.cz is not responsible for actions by third-party service providers such as payment processors, couriers, or partners. We are not liable for their errors or related claims.

7. FINAL PROVISIONS

Legal framework

If your contract includes international elements, Czech law applies. Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected. Disputes will be handled by the competent court based on Rohlik.cz’s registered office.

Supervision and licenses

Rohlik.cz operates under a valid trade license. No authority other than the relevant trade office supervises our business. You can contact the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (www.coi.cz) with any consumer-related complaints.

Service termination

Rohlik.cz reserves the right to discontinue the Xtra Membership service or the sale of products/services via the e-shop at any time.

Changes to the Terms

We may amend these Terms when necessary. You’ll be notified via email or another appropriate method. If you disagree with the new version, you can terminate your membership with one month’s notice from the day your cancellation notice is received.

Severability

If any provision is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions. The invalid term will be replaced with one closest to the original intent.
