INGREDIENTS

  • 180 g all-purpose flour
  • 180 g granulated sugar
  • 140 g egg whites and 100 g egg yolks
  • powdered sugar for dusting
  • pinch of salt

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 170 °C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

    Whisk the egg yolks with half of the sugar until foamy. Whisk the egg whites with the other half of the sugar and a pinch of salt until stiff peaks form.

    Gradually add the whisked egg whites and flour alternately to the whisked egg yolks, and gently, lightly mix with a wooden spoon until everything is combined.

    Fill a pastry bag with a plain tip with the batter and pipe 10 cm long ladyfingers onto the baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Dust them with powdered sugar through a fine sieve, place them in the preheated oven, and bake for 15 minutes.
