PAD THAI
- 500 g chicken meat
- 1 bunch of spring onions
- 1/2 leek
- Sunflower oil for the bottom of the pan
- 4 tablespoons tamarind sauce
- 4 eggs
- 2 red onions
- 2 carrots
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 4 tablespoons fish sauce
- 6 cloves of garlic
- Ginger in the same amount as garlic
- 2 limes
- 4 tablespoons light soy sauce
- 1 package of rice noodles
TOPPING
- Coriander for garnish
- 50 g peanuts
- Chili pepper for garnish
- 50 g fried onion

INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Soak the rice noodles in cold water for about 20 minutes.
- 2Fry the meat in heated oil. Then spread it out in the pan and fry the eggs in the middle. Once the eggs are fried, mix them with the meat and add chopped onion and carrot. Blend the garlic together with ginger and a drop of oil into a paste. Add the paste to the pan.
- 3Mix in the pre-soaked noodles and then add all the seasonings at once (sugar, soy sauce, fish sauce, tamarind paste) and finally toss in the leek and spring onion. Garnish the finished Pad Thai noodles with peanuts, coriander, chili, and fried onion.
Tip
Prepare a maximum of 2 servings in one pan. If you feel that the Pad Thai lacks enough liquid, you can add a tablespoon or two of water.
You will need a wok pan for preparation.
Preparation time is 50 minutes.
