INGREDIENTS FOR CHICKEN WINGS

  • 750 g chicken wings
  • 2 tablespoons balsamic vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon sweet paprika
  • plain flour for coating
  • vegetable oil for frying
  • pinch of pepper
  • pinch of salt

INGREDIENTS FOR TERIYAKI SAUCE

  • 200 ml soy sauce
  • 110 g brown sugar
  • 130 g finely grated apple
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped fresh coriander
  • 1 tablespoon peeled sesame seeds

METHOD FOR CHICKEN WINGS

    Cut off the wingtips from the chicken wings and cut the wings at the joint.

    In a bowl, mix balsamic vinegar, sweet paprika, salt, and pepper, add the prepared wings, mix, and set aside.

    In a saucepan, heat a deeper layer of oil to 160 °C.
  • 4
    Coat the wings in plain flour and shake off any excess flour. Fry them completely submerged in hot oil until golden brown, about 15 minutes. Remove the cooked wings from the oil and pat them dry on kitchen paper.

METHOD FOR TERIYAKI SAUCE

    In a saucepan, boil soy sauce with 100 ml of water and sugar until reduced to ²⁄³ of the original volume. Remove from heat and mix with grated apple.

    Lightly toast sesame seeds in a dry pan and mix them with chopped coriander in a bowl. First, coat the fried chicken wings in teriyaki sauce, then in the sesame seeds with coriander.
