INGREDIENTS
- 100 g peeled split red lentils, dry weight
- 1 tablespoon rapeseed or sunflower oil
- ⅓ teaspoon salt
METHOD
- 1Pour water over the red lentils and let them soak for 8 hours (ideally overnight).
- 2After the specified time, drain the lentils and rinse them well under cold water. Then place them in a blender, add 180 ml of water, 1 tablespoon of oil, and ⅓ teaspoon of salt, and blend everything into a smooth batter.
- 3Now prepare a medium-sized non-stick pan with a diameter of approximately 20 cm and heat it dry over medium heat. Then reduce the heat to low to medium and gradually prepare 4 flatbreads from the batter in the pan – always pour ¼ of the batter into the pan and fry for 2–3 minutes on each side.
- 4Serve the finished flatbreads immediately or store them in the refrigerator and consume within 2–3 days.
