INGREDIENTS FOR RICE WAFFLES

  • 1 cup cooked rice (leftover rice can be used)
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 egg
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • Salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder (optional)

INGREDIENTS FOR SALMON FILLING

  • 150 g smoked salmon or fresh salmon, chopped into small pieces
  • 1/4 cup chopped cilantro
  • 1 tablespoon Sriracha (to taste)
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise

    In a large bowl, combine cooked rice, all-purpose flour, milk, egg, vegetable oil, baking powder, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Mix well.

    Then, heat up the waffle iron and lightly grease it with oil or butter to prevent the waffles from sticking.

    Pour approximately 1/2 cup of batter (1 waffle) and cook according to your waffle iron's instructions until the waffles are golden and crispy.

    In a bowl, mix chopped salmon, cilantro, mayonnaise, and sriracha.

    Divide the waffles onto plates and top each serving with the salmon filling.
