INGREDIENTS
- 500 g chicken thigh meat
- 1 onion
- 100 g chopped tomatoes
- 3 cloves of garlic
- 1 teaspoon cane sugar
- 1 red bell pepper
- 1 yellow bell pepper
- 1 teaspoon corn starch

- 2 teaspoons ground red paprika

- 1 teaspoon oregano
- 1 teaspoon basil
- 0.5 teaspoon thyme
- 0.5 teaspoon ground black pepper
- ¼ teaspoon ground cayenne pepper 1/4 teaspoon ground cayenne pepper
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Mix the spice ingredients in a small bowl and set aside.
- 2Peel and finely chop the onion. Wash the bell peppers, halve them, remove the seeds, and cut them into strips. Cut the chicken meat into smaller pieces, season with salt, and sprinkle with the prepared spice mixture.
- 3Pour oil into a pan, heat it, and start sautéing the onion until translucent. Then add the bell peppers and continue sautéing for another 2 minutes. Transfer the vegetables from the pan to a plate and start sautéing the meat. If needed, add a little more oil.
- 4Once the meat is cooked through, add the tomatoes, heat them, and add 300 ml of water mixed with 1 teaspoon of starch. Cook for several minutes until the sauce slightly thickens. Then add the reserved vegetables. If necessary, add sugar and season with salt. Stir and serve with cooked rice or pasta.
