INGREDIENTS
- 300 g puff pastry
- approx. 200 g Debrecen sausages
- 100 g Gouda
- Mild ketchup
- 1 egg
- Herbes de Provence
- White sesame seeds
- Red cherry tomatoes
- Yellow cherry tomatoes
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Roll out the dough into a rectangle, or buy pre-rolled dough.
- 2Using a sharp knife, divide it into 12 equal smaller rectangles. Spread ketchup on 6 of them, sprinkle with Herbes de Provence and grated cheese. Then arrange sliced cherry tomatoes, 2 slices will be enough. Finally, place the Debrecen sausage, trimmed so it doesn't extend beyond the edges.
- 3Cut the remaining 6 parts of the dough into diagonal strips in the middle, but the dough must remain in one piece. Cover the filled part of the dough with this section and join the edges. Then press downwards to form an oval. Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- 4Bake in a preheated oven at 180 degrees Celsius for approximately 20 minutes, until the pastries are golden brown. Serve with fresh cherry tomatoes.
