INGREDIENTS

  • 600 g raw potatoes (cooking type A)
  • 100 g chicken ham (min 95% meat)
  • 100 g Edam cheese (max. 20% fat in dry matter)
  • 2 tablespoons rapeseed or sunflower oil
  • 150 g frozen peas
  • 2 eggs size M
  • 100 ml semi-skimmed milk
  • Salt
  • Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1
First, wash the potatoes (do not peel the skin), place them in a large pot, cover with enough cold water, and salt. Then, place the pot over high heat and bring the water to a boil. Once the water starts boiling, reduce the heat to medium and cook the potatoes for 15 – 17 minutes.
  • 2
While the potatoes are cooking, cut the chicken ham into thin strips, finely grate the Edam cheese, and place both into a large bowl.
  • 3
Once the potatoes are cooked, drain them and cool them under running cold water. Then, peel the potatoes, cut them into cubes approximately 1 cm × 1 cm in size, and add them to the bowl with the ham and Edam cheese.
  • 4
Now, preheat the oven to 200 – 205 °C, prepare a baking dish measuring 30 cm × 25 cm, and grease it with 2 tablespoons of oil.
  • 5
To the bowl with potatoes, ham, and Edam cheese, add frozen peas, eggs, milk, salt, and pepper, and mix everything. Transfer the resulting mixture to the baking dish, place it in the preheated oven, and bake for 35 – 40 minutes at 200 – 205 °C. Divide the baked potatoes into 4 portions and serve.

TIP

  • 1
The potatoes also taste great with corn – you can either halve the amount of peas and supplement the rest with corn, or completely replace the peas with corn.
