INGREDIENTS

  • 4 sausages
  • 4 hot dog buns
  • 2 medium onions
  • 120 g cream cheese
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 jalapeño, thinly sliced
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • BBQ sauce
  • Sauerkraut (to taste)

INSTRUCTIONS

    Cut the hot dogs in half lengthwise, ensuring they remain connected.

    Caramelize the sliced onion in a pan until golden brown.

    Then grill the hot dogs on each side until cooked through, and lightly grill the hot dog buns as well.

    Spread cream cheese on one side of the grilled buns. Then add the hot dogs and grilled onion to the buns. Finally, top with slices of fresh, thinly sliced jalapeño and drizzle with BBQ sauce. You can also add sauerkraut if you like it.
