INGREDIENTS

  • 280 g all-purpose flour
  • 40 g powdered sugar
  • 100 g ground walnuts
  • 200 g plant-based butter
  • 1 teaspoon grated lemon zest

INSTRUCTIONS

    In a bowl, mix the sifted flour and powdered sugar. Add the softened butter, lemon zest, and ground walnuts, and knead into a dough. Then wrap it in foil and let it rest for one to two days.

    After resting, knead the dough again and form a roll. Cut off equally long pieces from it, and shape them into crescents on baking paper.

    Bake the crescents for approximately 8 minutes at 180 °C. After baking, coat them in a mixture of vanilla sugar and powdered sugar.
