INGREDIENTS

  • 4 pcs tortillas
  • 4 pcs (vegan) burgers
  • 100 g sliced cheddar
  • Pickled cucumbers
  • 1 pc shallot
  • Ketchup
  • Handful of baby spinach

INSTRUCTIONS

  • 1
First, prepare the burger meat or veggie alternative in a pan, as you would for burgers. If you are using raw meat, its preparation will take a little more time; for a veggie option or pre-cooked meat, you can just quickly sear it on both sides in the pan.
  • 2
Place the tortilla on a cutting board. Take a knife and make a cut from the center of the tortilla down to the edge.
  • 3
Imagine the tortilla is divided into four parts (in half, and each half again in half). You will place a different ingredient into each part.
  • 4
In the first part to the left of the cut, place the meat/veggie alternative. In the next part, a slice of cheddar. On the next part of the tortilla, add a mixture of chopped shallots, pickled cucumbers, and a few baby spinach leaves. Spread ketchup on the last part.
  • 5
Now you can start wrapping. First, fold the burger part over the cheddar, then fold both parts over the salad, and finish the wrap by folding it over the ketchup part. For a better visual, watch the video above.
  • 6
Cook the wrapped tortilla dry on both sides in a pan, contact grill, or toaster.
