Ingredients
- 4 chicken breasts (4× approx. 150 g)
- 2 large tomatoes
- 1 small zucchini
- 1 onion
- 2 packages of mozzarella (2× 125 g)
- 2 tablespoons of olive oil
- 2 teaspoons of dried Italian seasoning mix
- Salt
- Pepper
Instructions
- 1First, preheat the oven to 200 °C, prepare a baking sheet and line it with baking paper.
- 2Slice the tomatoes, zucchini, and onion into thin rounds and cut them in half. Make 5–6 incisions along the length of the chicken breasts (incisions about 1.5 cm deep). Season the meat with salt and pepper, and insert a halved slice of zucchini, onion, and tomato into each incision. Drizzle the prepared chicken breasts with olive oil, sprinkle with seasoning, and bake for 15–20 minutes at 190–200 °C. Meanwhile, coarsely grate the mozzarella. After the specified time, sprinkle the chicken with mozzarella and bake for another 5–7 minutes at 200 °C.
