Ingredients

  • 600 g chicken breasts
  • 75 g peanut butter
  • 7 g garlic
  • 150 g lemon
  • 24 g soy sauce
  • 10 g chili pepper
  • 15 ml olive oil
  • 1 pc salt
  • 1 pc pepper
  • 1 pc curry powder

Instructions

  • 1
    First, thoroughly preheat the grill.
  • 2
Then prepare the marinade. In a large bowl, mix together the zest and juice of 1 lemon, curry powder, soy sauce, and pepper.
  • 3
Wash, pat dry, and lengthwise slice the chicken breasts into long strips. Each breast will yield approximately 3–4 strips of meat, 1 cm wide.
  • 4
Place the chicken strips into the bowl with the marinade, mix, and let marinate at room temperature for at least 15 minutes.
  • 5
Thread the marinated meat strips onto approximately 25 cm long skewers in an "accordion" shape. Thread 2 strips of meat onto each skewer – this will create approximately 6–7 skewers. Once all the meat is prepared, arrange the skewers on the grill and grill intensely for 2–3 minutes on each side.
  • 6
Then move the skewers to the side of the grill with lower heat, close the grill lid, and let them grill for at least another 3–4 minutes.
  • 7
Finally, transfer the finished skewers to a plate and serve.
  • 8
First, prepare a tall blending container and an immersion blender. Place peanut butter, a peeled garlic clove, soy sauce, water, and salt into the blending container. Remove the stem and tip from the chili pepper, then cut it lengthwise and remove the seeds and ribs. Add the prepared chili pepper halves to the other ingredients and blend everything with an immersion blender until a smooth sauce is formed. The blended sauce can be served immediately or sealed in an airtight container and placed in the refrigerator, where it will last for 6–7 days.
