DUMPLING INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat the oven to 140 °C.

Finely chop the onion. Cut the bacon into 0.5 cm cubes. Cut the rohlíky into 1 cm cubes. Place them on a baking sheet and dry them in the preheated oven for 10 minutes. Transfer them to a bowl.

In a pan over medium heat, melt the lard, add the onion and bacon, and sauté, stirring frequently, until golden. Add to the bowl with the rohlíky, along with the rendered fat from the bacon. Season with salt and pepper.

Chef's tip

The dumplings themselves can also be served as a side dish with meat.
