Preparation method
In a bowl, mix flour, sugar, and salt. Dissolve yeast in warm milk and pour into the mixture. Add melted butter, eggs, vanilla, and lemon zest. Mix everything into a smooth dough. Let it rise in a warm place for about an hour.
For the filling, melt butter with brown sugar in a pan, add finely chopped pistachios. Sprinkle in cinnamon, mix, and let it simmer briefly until everything is well combined. Then let it cool.
Roll out the risen dough into a rectangle. Beforehand, flour both the surface and the rolling pin. Spread with the prepared filling, sprinkle with crushed freeze-dried fruit, and roll into a log. Then cut it lengthwise and braid the two ends into a plait. Shape it into a wreath and place it in a round baking pan lined with parchment paper. Then let it rise for another 20 minutes.
