  • 300 g whole wheat spaghetti, dry
  • 4 cloves of garlic
  • 250 g cherry tomatoes (1 package)
  • 4 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 handful fresh basil
  • 250 g mozzarella (2 packages)
  • Salt
  • Pepper

INSTRUCTIONS

    First, prepare a large pot, fill it with water for pasta and bring to a boil over high heat. Salt the water and once it starts boiling, add the pasta to the pot and cook for 17–18 minutes over high heat. After cooking, drain the pasta.

    Meanwhile, peel the garlic and slice it thinly, and wash and halve the cherry tomatoes. Then take a medium-sized pan and heat 4 tablespoons of olive oil over medium heat. Once the oil is hot, add the garlic slices to the pan and sauté them over medium heat for 1 minute.

    Next, add the cherry tomatoes, lightly mash them with a wooden spoon, and continue to sauté everything for 4–5 minutes over medium heat.

    Finally, add the drained pasta to the pan. Roughly tear the basil, tear the mozzarella into larger pieces, and add them to the pan as well. Season the pasta with pepper, mix, divide into individual plates, and serve.
