Wash the mushrooms, dry them with a paper towel and cut them into thicker slices, smaller pieces into quarters or halves. Peel the shallot and chop it finely.

Sauté the mushrooms in a tablespoon of oil, it takes approximately 3 minutes until the mushroom pieces start to brown. Set them aside off the pan. Add oil and fry the shallot until golden, then add broth, cream, and nutritional yeast. Simmer the sauce over low heat for at least 5 minutes. Add the mushrooms. Season with ground pepper and salt if needed.
