INGREDIENTS

  • 500 g all-purpose flour
  • 250 ml lukewarm water
  • 80 ml oil
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 teaspoon marjoram
  • 1 teaspoon dried garlic
  • 1 tablespoon fresh chives
  • Half a block of yeast (21 grams)
  • 100 g streaky bacon
  • 2 mozzarellas
  • 1 egg
  • Something for sprinkling (poppy seeds, caraway, sesame)

  • Pâté

INSTRUCTIONS

    Mix flour, water, oil, yeast, salt, mozzarella, bacon, marjoram, garlic, chives, and knead by hand or put in a food processor.

    Divide the dough into 10 portions.

    Shape each portion by hand into a bun.

    Arrange the buns on a baking tray.
  • 5
    Whisk one egg with a pinch of salt.
  • 6
    Brush the buns with egg and sprinkle with poppy seeds or something you like.

    Bake in the oven for approx. 25 minutes at 180° C.
Tip
Savory buns are great with any spread, cream cheese, or pâté.
