Linzer Stars with Orange Zest

Sift flour, baking powder, and sugar onto a work surface. Crack a whole egg into a well in the flour, finely grate the yolk, cut the butter, and add lemon and orange zest.

Knead into a smooth dough, wrap it in cling film, and let it firm up in the refrigerator for 2 hours.

Roll out the dough into a 3 mm thick sheet. Cut out stars or flowers. Place them on a baking sheet lined with baking paper, maintaining small gaps.
