Toothy Apples

Halve the apple and then divide each half into two equal pieces. Carefully remove the core. Try to cut out the smallest possible piece so that the final scarecrow doesn't fall apart.

From the front side of the apple, where the peel is, use a sharp knife to cut an opening into each wedge, which will represent the scarecrow's mouth. Spread peanut butter on both sides of the created opening.

Gradually insert peanuts into the created mouth, which will represent the scarecrow's teeth. Finding the right size can sometimes be a challenge, so feel free to let the children help you find suitable peanuts.
