BURGER PROCEDURE
Slice the tomatoes into 16 pieces. Peel the onion and slice it into thin rings. Grill the bacon on a medium-hot grill until golden brown on both sides and set aside.
Form the meat into 4 patties the size of the buns, season with salt and pepper on both sides, and brush with melted butter. Place on a medium-hot grill and grill for 3 minutes. Then flip the meat, brush again with melted butter, and grill for another 2 minutes. After that, place 1 slice of cheese on each piece of meat and grill for another 1 minute. Place the cooked meat on a plate.
Slice the buns lengthwise and grill them cut-side down.
Chef's tip
Do not overcook the meat. It should remain red inside, or at most pink, like a classic steak. This is the only way the meat will stay juicy.
