Clean the hearts. Press the garlic.

In a bowl, mix 60 ml of oil, pressed garlic, chili, salt, and pepper. Add the hearts, mix, and let marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes.

Soak the skewers in cold water for 10 minutes. Thread the marinated hearts onto the skewers. Place them on a hot grill and grill for 2-2.5 minutes per side.

Chef's tip

You can add a tablespoon of chopped fresh cilantro to the marinade for the hearts. The hearts taste excellent with a mix of green salads or arugula drizzled with olive oil and lemon juice, and with a few cherry tomatoes.
