Carp preparation
Preheat the oven to 180 °C.
Cut the bacon into 8 sticks, each approximately 7×1.5 cm in size, and place them in the freezer for 20 minutes.
Remove the skin from the fillets and cut openings into each with a narrow knife, into which insert the prepared bacon sticks. Salt the fillets on all sides.
Chef's tip
Do not overcook the lentils and groats. For cooking, you need approximately three times more water than legumes. Instead of groats, you can use cooked buckwheat. The salad can also be served lukewarm. You can serve the fish in combination with classic breaded fried carp and potato salad during Christmas Eve dinner.
