Preparation method
Thoroughly clean and dry the vegetables, then slice them lengthwise into 2–3 mm thick pieces.
In a large saucepan or deep fryer, heat a deep layer of oil to 160 °C.
Gradually add the vegetables in small batches to the hot oil and fry until light golden.
Chef's tip
Instead of slicing vegetables with a knife, you can use a suitable grater that allows you to grate vegetables into equally thin slices. Salt the vegetable chips while they are still hot. But unsalted, they also taste excellent. The number of individual ingredients is given for approximately 4 people. However, the final amount of vegetables prepared this way depends on each host and the size of the visit.
