Preparation method
Cut the tomatoes in half and remove the tough cores and seeds. Finely chop the flesh. Press the garlic or finely chop it. Cut the chili pepper in half, remove the seeds, and finely chop it.
Cut the avocado in half and remove the pit. Scoop out the flesh from the skin with a spoon and cut it into small cubes. Place them in a bowl and mash half of them with a fork.
Add oil, sour cream, lime juice, garlic, chili pepper, and cilantro. Finally, stir in the chopped tomatoes. Season with salt and pepper to taste, mix, and chill in the refrigerator for a while.
Chef's tip
You can mash the entire amount of avocado with a fork. The guacamole will have a smoother texture. You can add a teaspoon of Dijon mustard to the guacamole. Serve with nachos.
