Ingredients

  • 250 g plain white wheat flour
  • 12 g baking powder
  • 8 g granulated vanilla sugar
  • 40 g granulated cane sugar
  • 200 g Greek yogurt
  • 1 egg
  • 70 ml sunflower oil
  • 150 g apple puree
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 20 g white powdered sugar

Instructions

    Preheat the oven to 170⁠–⁠175 °C, prepare a baking dish measuring 25 cm × 30 cm and line it with baking paper.

    Take a large bowl, add the plain flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and cane sugar, and mix.

    To the resulting mixture, add Greek yogurt, eggs, sunflower oil, apple puree, and cinnamon, and work into a looser batter.

    Transfer the finished batter to the lined baking dish, place it in the preheated oven, and bake for 40⁠–⁠45 minutes at 170⁠–⁠175 °C.

    Remove the baking dish from the oven and let the cake cool in the dish on a work surface for at least 30 minutes.

    Once cooled, remove the cake from the baking dish, cut into 12 portions, sprinkle each portion with powdered sugar, and serve.
