Ingredients
- 250 g plain white wheat flour
- 12 g baking powder
- 8 g granulated vanilla sugar
- 40 g granulated cane sugar
- 200 g Greek yogurt
- 1 egg
- 70 ml sunflower oil
- 150 g apple puree
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 20 g white powdered sugar
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 170–175 °C, prepare a baking dish measuring 25 cm × 30 cm and line it with baking paper.
- 2Take a large bowl, add the plain flour, baking powder, vanilla sugar, and cane sugar, and mix.
- 3To the resulting mixture, add Greek yogurt, eggs, sunflower oil, apple puree, and cinnamon, and work into a looser batter.
- 4Transfer the finished batter to the lined baking dish, place it in the preheated oven, and bake for 40–45 minutes at 170–175 °C.
- 5Remove the baking dish from the oven and let the cake cool in the dish on a work surface for at least 30 minutes.
- 6Once cooled, remove the cake from the baking dish, cut into 12 portions, sprinkle each portion with powdered sugar, and serve.
