Preparation method
First, cook down the frozen strawberries: Put them in a small pot with 2 tablespoons of water and let them cook down over medium heat (10–15 minutes). Then mash them with a fork and let cool for 20–30 minutes.
Meanwhile, in a non-stick pan, sauté the flakes with almond slices until golden brown, stirring constantly (3–5 minutes over medium heat).
Then mix ½ of the cooked-down strawberries with quark and you can start layering. Prepare 3 equally sized glasses (approx. 200 ml volume) and layer in this order: strawberries, quark, flakes with almonds. Repeat once more. Finally, slice fresh strawberries into thinner pieces and decorate the parfait with them. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes and serve.
Chef's tip
Fruit parfait is suitable for a snack. If you want to have this treat for breakfast too, increase the amount of oat flakes to a total of 120 g.
