INGREDIENTS
- 350 g semi-coarse flour
- 300 g granulated sugar
- 170 g butter and for greasing the mold
- 100 ml milk
- 4 eggs
- 1 baking powder
- coarse flour for dusting the mold
FOOD AND COFFEE PAIRING
- This dish is best enjoyed with quality coffee.
INSTRUCTIONS
- 1Preheat the oven to 160 °C. Thoroughly grease the lamb mold with butter and dust with coarse flour.
- 2Mix the flour with baking powder. Cream the butter with sugar until foamy, stir in the eggs and milk, and finally the flour with baking powder.
- 3Pour the dough into the prepared mold, place it in the preheated oven, and bake for 60 minutes.
- 4Let the finished lamb cool in the mold and only then turn it out.
Tip
The amount of dough is for a smaller mold.
All ingredients must be at the same temperature so that the fat does not separate in the dough (it would have fine granules). The dough can then curdle in the mold during baking and will not rise.
If this happens, don't despair. Place the bowl with the dough in a warm water bath and rub until the fat dissolves and combines with the other ingredients into a smooth dough again.
