Ingredients
- 500 g fleky
- 500 g smoked pork neck
- 1 tablespoon lard for greasing the baking dish
- 1 handful breadcrumbs for dusting the baking dish
- 2 cloves garlic
- 6 pcs eggs
- 200 ml whipping cream
- 100 ml whole milk
- 1 handful parsley leaves
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 pinch ground pepper
Instructions
- 1Preheat the oven to 170 °C. Grease the baking dish with lard and sprinkle with breadcrumbs.
- 2Peel and press the garlic. Whisk the eggs in a bowl with cream and milk. Cut the smoked meat into 0.5 cm cubes. Cook the fleky in salted water until al dente and drain.
- 3Mix the fleky in a bowl with the smoked meat, chopped parsley, garlic, 1 teaspoon of salt, and pepper. Pour in the eggs with cream and milk and mix everything thoroughly.
- 4Place the mixture into the baking dish and bake in the preheated oven for 35 minutes. Then let it rest in the turned-off oven for 15 minutes.
- 5Instead of pork neck, you can also use smoked pork rib meat. Šunkofleky will be better if you don't prepare them from cold pasta, but bake them while still warm. Pickled cucumbers taste great with Šunkofleky.
